Sammy's opened in 1988, started by Sam and Joe Vrantsis as Sammy Jo's, back when this stretch of Ancaster was still farmland. We began in the heart of town on Wilson Street, and you'll find us today just up the road in the plaza at 1080 Wilson Street West.
The Kaleci family has run the kitchen and the front room for close to two decades since. We cook breakfast and lunch with a Mediterranean influence — soups and sauces made in-house, fries cut fresh, and the best meats and produce we can get our hands on from local farmers and suppliers.
Same booths, same recipes, same family. Pull up a chair.
